We attended the Rural and Seaside Show over the May Bank Holiday. The weather was beautiful and sunny on Saturday, very rainy on Sunday and despite the forecast, the sun also shining on Bank Holiday Monday. The show is in its 4th year and is centred around animals – horses and dog shows as well as other furry creatures.
We were very busy serving tea and cake with Genevieve and the pop up tea room – even serving the Mayor and Lady Mayor when they came to visit. Rain on Sunday also didn’t stop people visiting for tea and cake, they were very well prepared! We also picked up a couple of new additions to the tea room, some special Southsea mugs from Funky Beach Art and also a fabulous hand made sign for Genevieve.
